Introductory Zulu introduces isiZulu as an additional language to young learners. Workbook 1 (suitable for Grade 1 learners) is made up of 28 lessons. Each lesson consists of teacher activities and learner activities, suitable for a half hour lesson. The methodology used is such that the grammar is introduced covertly within a communicative framework. There are songs, games and conversations which all enhance the language acquisition in the form of pronunciation, a basic understanding of the language and limited speech. Vocabulary cards are included to provide endless entertainment.
